THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ‘HARASSING ME WITH LOVE'. So for a while now I have been worried about school life and how to balance it with my walk with God and my service to Him. I don’t want any to suffer and it SEEMS like in the course of life one would have to take pre-eminence. So I’m throwing this question to you; how do you balance church- life (service) and work-life? After school you’ll be saddled with various responsibilities like family, work, ministry and some other things, how do you make sure there’s balance? I know people who have gone to both sides of the extreme; putting all attention to one (maybe ministry) and totally neglecting the other (maybe family). Then I know people who seem to be making it work. So how do you create a balance or does God literally expect you to throw everything and follow Him? I believe if we have this balance even in the circular world a lot of families will be saved. A lot of marriages will be saved if a lot of husbands kept their wives...

Hello So a while ago, something happened at home that threw almost everyone off balance. We received a particular blessing from God after much prayer. Then after a while, it got taken back. For example you were looking for a job, and after a long time of waiting in prayer, you get the job in a way that you know, God has answered. Then after a while, you receive a sack letter. Well it was not a job in this case, but something similar. I was literally heart broken, so I went back to God. You see when you go through troubles, God expects you to come to Him. Not to go away from Him. He said in Phil 4:6 "Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God." So I went back to Him. When things don't go according to how God has spoken , you have the right to go back to Him. In fact, He excepts you to. We are all in...

#Confessions From a young age , kids usually know what they want to be when they grow older. Well, I did too then. However two years to graduation from university (college) I didn’t know my path in life. I know most people have that dilemma (what’s the biggie right), but everyone just assumed I knew where I was going to. Well I had no particular plan for my life. I knew I would graduate, work, get married, die. But really is that all there is to life? A lot of people are in this dilemma. They just let life happen to them. Even before I began this journey I knew my life was more than just going to school, getting married, giving birth, taking care of my children, then dying. Yeah I know that’s the basic ingredient of life (for some), but to me that was like raw rice. I needed some ingredients to make it colourful jollof. Fast forward to present. I’m sitting here reading 'Isaiah 41: 10-16'. I heard a message once by Gbile Akanni on that passage; “Fear not I Will Make...

Spirit, Soul and Body Happy Sunday everyone 💞 Hope you're having an awesome time with God today. Today I'll be writing on a very important topic to us as Christians. Are we spirit, soul and body? or are we spirit, possessing a soul and living in a body? This might look like mere semantics to you, but understanding this will give you a key insight to Christian living and help you understand better how to relate with God. What does it mean to be a spirit, a soul and a body? This means that we have three independent but interrelated members. No one is more important than the other ultimately. What does it mean to be a spirit, possessing a soul and living in a body? This means that we are principally spirit men, 'the flesh profits nothing'. God doesn't care about it. 'He looks at the inward and not the outward.' So which one are we? I have been of the two different schools of thought at different times in my walk with God and this is what I...

Musings of a Lover ™ Fear. Something happened at home, and my first action would have been to worry, but unlike me, instead of pursuing facts and ‘accusing' God, I started speaking God’s word and speaking and speaking. Then when I was calm I prayed and then God gave victory. If this had happened earlier, I would have gone back to God and say ‘you said this, you said that why is this happening now'; Mine was not a prayer of faith, it was a prayer of accusation. This time I didn’t go to God immediately, I spoke to the situation and when I was done I went back to my Father. What did I learn? FEAR. You see, whatever you focus on you magnify. If you keep seeing the problem, it will magnify, you’ll feel hopeless. But if you begin to see God in that situation, everything begins to get better. The devil is often times referred to as the PRINCE of THIS world. Meaning he’s a ruler without authority and his jurisdiction ends on the earth. He has no influence outside. Just ...
