Life and Love (Family, Friends, Spouses, Neighbours, Everyone!)

One of the crucial components of life is love. Everything we do on earth revolves around love (either lack of love or the existence of it).

So why are we so interested about love today?

You see we are going into a season supposedly about love and we don't even know the foundation of love.

Love formed creation and Love sustains creation  (I mean that both literally and figuratively).

You see God's fundamental reason for creating man was formed out of love.

Why was God interested in a barren earth (Gen 1:1). He could as well have left it. He dwelt in heaven and I'm sure heaven was good.

He knew there was going to be a God-like specie called man who would soon inhabit the earth and he needed to make it good for you and me. Fit to standard. Because you were about to be made (or your ancestors).

Then He needed man to come and have dominion over the earth. Why was He so interested in us having dominion. We are meant to be an extension of God on earth. Just as he has dominion over the heavens, He created us to have dominion over the earth. God created a son; an offspring; made in His image and likeness to take charge of his estate; for the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof (Ps. 24:1)

Gen 1: 26 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

You see you can't really know love if you don't know God. Because His love is embedded into your very nature. Every single part of your being is fashioned according to purpose. No mistakes.

So what is love? Or Who is love?

    1 cor 13: "-4 Love endures with patience and serenity,

    - Love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious;

    - Love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant.

    -5 Love is not rude; it is not self-seeking,

    - Love is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered];

    - Love does not take into account a wrong endured.

    -6 Love does not rejoice at injustice, but rejoices with the truth [when right and truth prevail].

    -7 Love bears all things [regardless of what comes],

    - believes all things [looking for the best in each one],

    - hopes all things [remaining steadfast during difficult times], endures all things [without weakening].

    -8 Love never fails [it never fades nor ends]. But as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for the gift of special knowledge, it will pass away"

And do you know that God is Love.                 1 John 4: 7 "Beloved, let us [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves [others] is born of God and knows God [through personal experience]. 8 The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]"

So you can read that passage in 1 cor. 13 again and replace "Love" with "God" and see how amazing God is!

You're God's expression of love. Forgiveness, Redemption, Salvation, Eternal Life. Everything He did for you through Christ is an expression of how much He loves you and cares about you, and it never changes!!

And He expects you to show that love to everyone including your spouse! God loves you so that you can love others. That's why he shows you his great love , so that others can receive it through you and believe in Him.

It's good to know that God loves you. That He is concerned about the little details about you, like how you sleep, what you eat, what you wear, who you court. God is Able to do What He says He will do

It’s easy to get distracted. It’s easy to conclude that God is not working. So what do you do when you get to this point where it feels like you’re going nowhere? You take a deep breath, relax and tell God to take over. A ridiculous position for someone who is expecting some action, but until you’re still and realize and recognize that He is God, you will never get God to work in your life. God is able to do that which He says He will do. His ability does not change because the circumstances have changed or because the person you were hoping on has passed on. The prophet says in Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou (God) wilt keep him (you) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Him): because he (you)  trusts in thee (Him). Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” God tells us to put our trust in Him (that confidently relies on and believe in Him). Intimacy With The King

Hello, guys. So it’s been a while here. How are you? Hope you’re all good. Today I’m going to be talking about ‘intimacy with the King' After salvation, God expects us to grow. I will tell you, you just got started if you just gave your life to Christ. There’s so much more to being saved than quoting a few good scriptures and going to church. God doesn’t want you to just come to him and end it there. He wants you to grow. He wants you to come to know Him. He wants you to come to be like Him. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you. (Deep calls unto deep; Psalm 42:7). God is the first Deep and He needs you to be deep too. Your salvation, great as it is, is not enough.  If it was, God would have taken you up immediately you gave your life to Him, but He didn’t. After your salvation, you need to grow. We Have a Better Covenant Than They

Heb 1: 13 KJV: “But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” After the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, He was raised up by God and made to sit at His Right Hand in heavenly places and while God was raising up Christ, He raised up everyone that would ever come to Him in Christ. So every prospective child of God was raised up in Christ upon His resurrection. So BEFORE you accepted Jesus you are already raised in Christ and you are seated in heavenly places. Let me explain the situation like this: If someone promises to give you money and the person drops the money with a friend for you, till you take possession of the money you can’t do anything with it. The fact that you have not collected the money does not mean it is not there. Fellowship

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together except they agree? Agreement is very important for any relationship to work. The place of fellowship is where spouses can learn about each other; their flaws, their likes, and dislikes and how best to relate to each other. In our relationship with Christ ( He is our groom and we are His bride Rev 21:9 ), fellowship is where divinity meets with humanity and we become more like Him. We can fellowship with God through His Word and Prayer.  When you are going through God’s Word, you might not immediately feel the effect of what you’re doing but if you CONSISTENTLY keep at it, one day you'll realize that you’re acting like Jesus. Remember always that in your Christian life you walk by Faith and not by Sight and you can only move God by your faith. So believe you’re getting something from your Word study even if you think you’re not, and consistently keep at it and you’ll soon realize that the Word is having an impact in your life.  Next is prayer. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ‘HARASSING ME WITH LOVE'. So for a while now I have been worried about school life and how to balance it with my walk with God and my service to Him. I don’t want any to suffer and it SEEMS like in the course of life one would have to take pre-eminence. So I’m throwing this question to you; how do you balance church- life (service) and work-life? After school you’ll be saddled with various responsibilities like family, work, ministry and some other things, how do you make sure there’s balance? I know people who have gone to both sides of the extreme; putting all attention to one (maybe ministry) and totally neglecting the other (maybe family). Then I know people who seem to be making it work. So how do you create a balance or does God literally expect you to throw everything and follow Him? I believe if we have this balance even in the circular world a lot of families will be saved. A lot of marriages will be saved if a lot of husbands kept their wives
