We Have a Better Covenant Than They



Heb 1: 13
KJV: “But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?”

After the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, He was raised up by God and made to sit at His Right Hand in heavenly places and while God was raising up Christ, He raised up everyone that would ever come to Him in Christ. So every prospective child of God was raised up in Christ upon His resurrection. So BEFORE you accepted Jesus you are already raised in Christ and you are seated in heavenly places. Let me explain the situation like this: If someone promises to give you money and the person drops the money with a friend for you, till you take possession of the money you can’t do anything with it. The fact that you have not collected the money does not mean it is not there. In the same way, God has finished the work on your behalf, paid the price, done all He needs to do and has rested but till you come and collect the finished work of God by accepting Jesus, you can’t benefit from what God has already made available for you.

For everything under the Sun, there is a time and a season and God chose this time (our generation inclusive) to send His only begotten Son to die for us and by that pave a way for us to have access to Him. Jesus could have come in any generation or time but God chose this time to fulfill His Word which He had spoken by the mouth of His prophets. The Bible tells us: “Regarding this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace [of God] that was intended for you, searched carefully and inquired [about this future way of salvation],
seeking to find out what person or what time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He foretold the sufferings of Christ and the glories [destined] to follow. 
IT WAS REVEALED TO THEM THAT THEIR SERVICES [THEIR PROPHECIES REGARDING GRACE] WERE NOT [MEANT] FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR TIME, BUT FOR YOU,in these things [the death, resurrection, and glorification of Jesus Christ] which have now been told to you by those who preached the gospel to you by the [power of the] Holy Spirit [who was] sent from heaven. Into these things even the angels long to look.” (1 Peter 1: 10-12)

David speaking prophetically said, “Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute wickedness, and in whose spirit there is no deceit”. He was speaking of a time where your righteousness would be of God and not of yourself. (Psalm 32:2)

He cried again “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.”. He spoke of a time when your body will become the Temple of the LORD.(Psalm 27:4)

How David longed to live in these days. The prophets of old wanted to live in our generation. To see the things we see, to be part of these manifestations of God. Jesus Christ confirmed this when He said concerning the revelation of the mysteries of the Kingdom; “But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them”. (Matt 13:16- 17)

Our patriarchs did not enjoy the levels of intimacy we have with God today. David had to go to a physical Temple every time He needed to inquire of God. But today you can inquire about a situation as it is happening, ‘LORD what should I do'. O, how David longed to be in your shoes. The children of Israel would sin and God would smite them in a day, if only they could come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of their need like you can now. (Heb 4:16).  God will judge us even more strictly than He did them, for the abundance of Grace He has lavished upon us. (Luke 12:48)

Why are you still joking with your salvation, You have a better covenant than they. Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah... longed to be in your time and they would stand in judgment against you in the end  (John 5:45). See the little they had, see the great things they did.

It's good to know that God loves you. That He is concerned about the little details about you, like how you sleep, what you eat, what you wear, who you court. God is Able to do What He says He will do

It’s easy to get distracted. It’s easy to conclude that God is not working. So what do you do when you get to this point where it feels like you’re going nowhere? You take a deep breath, relax and tell God to take over. A ridiculous position for someone who is expecting some action, but until you’re still and realize and recognize that He is God, you will never get God to work in your life. God is able to do that which He says He will do. His ability does not change because the circumstances have changed or because the person you were hoping on has passed on. The prophet says in Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou (God) wilt keep him (you) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Him): because he (you)  trusts in thee (Him). Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” God tells us to put our trust in Him (that confidently relies on and believe in Him). Circumstances may change, people may fail you but God will not fail you.  God is perfect in all His way

Intimacy With The King

Hello, guys. So it’s been a while here. How are you? Hope you’re all good. Today I’m going to be talking about ‘intimacy with the King' After salvation, God expects us to grow. I will tell you, you just got started if you just gave your life to Christ. There’s so much more to being saved than quoting a few good scriptures and going to church. God doesn’t want you to just come to him and end it there. He wants you to grow. He wants you to come to know Him. He wants you to come to be like Him. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you. (Deep calls unto deep; Psalm 42:7). God is the first Deep and He needs you to be deep too. Your salvation, great as it is, is not enough.  If it was, God would have taken you up immediately you gave your life to Him, but He didn’t. After your salvation, you need to grow. Fellowship

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together except they agree? Agreement is very important for any relationship to work. The place of fellowship is where spouses can learn about each other; their flaws, their likes, and dislikes and how best to relate to each other. In our relationship with Christ ( He is our groom and we are His bride Rev 21:9 ), fellowship is where divinity meets with humanity and we become more like Him. We can fellowship with God through His Word and Prayer.  When you are going through God’s Word, you might not immediately feel the effect of what you’re doing but if you CONSISTENTLY keep at it, one day you'll realize that you’re acting like Jesus. Remember always that in your Christian life you walk by Faith and not by Sight and you can only move God by your faith. So believe you’re getting something from your Word study even if you think you’re not, and consistently keep at it and you’ll soon realize that the Word is having an impact in your life.  Next is prayer. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ‘HARASSING ME WITH LOVE'. So for a while now I have been worried about school life and how to balance it with my walk with God and my service to Him. I don’t want any to suffer and it SEEMS like in the course of life one would have to take pre-eminence. So I’m throwing this question to you; how do you balance church- life (service) and work-life? After school you’ll be saddled with various responsibilities like family, work, ministry and some other things, how do you make sure there’s balance? I know people who have gone to both sides of the extreme; putting all attention to one (maybe ministry) and totally neglecting the other (maybe family). Then I know people who seem to be making it work. So how do you create a balance or does God literally expect you to throw everything and follow Him? I believe if we have this balance even in the circular world a lot of families will be saved. A lot of marriages will be saved if a lot of husbands kept their wives
