GOD IS ABLE



Joshua 1:8 ‘This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful’.

God still works. I’ll  begin with that. You know in our day a lot of things are happening.  People are asking questions that they are not getting answers to. Is there really a God? Does He really care about us? Why are things the way they are? ... The situation is not even made better with people rising up and saying they are from God when they are not, adding more confusion to the already confused people (Thank God for the good ones we have).

Well I tell you from my experience and that of some others I know that there is a God and He is the ONLY God, but let me leave my experiences aside and see what the WORD says:
When Moses was about to go, God gave him this commandment/instruction concerning us  
Deuteronomy 31:16-18
“The LORD said to Moses, “Behold, you are about to lie down [in death] with your fathers; and this person will arise and play the prostitute (commit apostasy) with the foreign gods [of the people] of the land, where they go to be among them. They will abandon (turn away from) Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.
Then My anger will be kindled and burn against them in that day, and I will abandon (turn away from) them and hide My face from them. They will be devoured, and many evils and troubles will come on them so that they will say in that day, ‘Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have come upon us?’
But I will certainly hide My face [from them] in that day because of all the evil which they will do, for they will turn to other gods [to worship lifeless idols, to honor handmade relics].””

Moses tells us that a time will come (both then and now) when the people will rise up and forsake God and break His covenant which He has made with them (they would begin to chase after other gods; themselves, their lusts, their wealth, anything but God) and God promises that in that day He will forsake them.

If God is not in a congregation it is because they forsook Him. God, however, did not leave us without a way of escape, He tells us in 2 Chronicles 7:14  ‘if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land'.

The devil is afraid of a Righteous man. He’ll keep you in sin to keep you defeated. You’ll keep struggling and asking what is wrong, asking where God is. You won't know He’s only less than a prayer away from a Right-Living man (One who has given his life to him and is living according to his precepts).

When we sin, we make God unable to help us and that’s where the devil wants to keep us. You see there are a lot of ills in the society and God is saying the root of it is sin(because you have left me). If you come back to Me I’ll heal you, make you whole, make you new, make you happy once again. Are you depressed? Do you think life is no longer worth living? I know people who have come back to God and He changed their story. Come to Jesus. You too will experience a change. I live it and I know it

You can make the simplest of prayers to get Him in:

LORD, I need you. Please come into my life and be my LORD and Saviour. I give my life to you. Come and rule over my life. Make me whole LORD. Thank you for coming to die for me. AMEN.

God is Able to do What He says He will do

It’s easy to get distracted. It’s easy to conclude that God is not working. So what do you do when you get to this point where it feels like you’re going nowhere? You take a deep breath, relax and tell God to take over. A ridiculous position for someone who is expecting some action, but until you’re still and realize and recognize that He is God, you will never get God to work in your life. God is able to do that which He says He will do. His ability does not change because the circumstances have changed or because the person you were hoping on has passed on. The prophet says in Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou (God) wilt keep him (you) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Him): because he (you)  trusts in thee (Him). Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” God tells us to put our trust in Him (that confidently relies on and believe in Him). Circumstances may change, people may fail you but God will not fail you.  God is perfect in all His way

Intimacy With The King

Hello, guys. So it’s been a while here. How are you? Hope you’re all good. Today I’m going to be talking about ‘intimacy with the King' After salvation, God expects us to grow. I will tell you, you just got started if you just gave your life to Christ. There’s so much more to being saved than quoting a few good scriptures and going to church. God doesn’t want you to just come to him and end it there. He wants you to grow. He wants you to come to know Him. He wants you to come to be like Him. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you. (Deep calls unto deep; Psalm 42:7). God is the first Deep and He needs you to be deep too. Your salvation, great as it is, is not enough.  If it was, God would have taken you up immediately you gave your life to Him, but He didn’t. After your salvation, you need to grow. We Have a Better Covenant Than They

Heb 1: 13 KJV: “But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” After the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, He was raised up by God and made to sit at His Right Hand in heavenly places and while God was raising up Christ, He raised up everyone that would ever come to Him in Christ. So every prospective child of God was raised up in Christ upon His resurrection. So BEFORE you accepted Jesus you are already raised in Christ and you are seated in heavenly places. Let me explain the situation like this: If someone promises to give you money and the person drops the money with a friend for you, till you take possession of the money you can’t do anything with it. The fact that you have not collected the money does not mean it is not there. Fellowship

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together except they agree? Agreement is very important for any relationship to work. The place of fellowship is where spouses can learn about each other; their flaws, their likes, and dislikes and how best to relate to each other. In our relationship with Christ ( He is our groom and we are His bride Rev 21:9 ), fellowship is where divinity meets with humanity and we become more like Him. We can fellowship with God through His Word and Prayer.  When you are going through God’s Word, you might not immediately feel the effect of what you’re doing but if you CONSISTENTLY keep at it, one day you'll realize that you’re acting like Jesus. Remember always that in your Christian life you walk by Faith and not by Sight and you can only move God by your faith. So believe you’re getting something from your Word study even if you think you’re not, and consistently keep at it and you’ll soon realize that the Word is having an impact in your life.  Next is prayer. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ‘HARASSING ME WITH LOVE'. So for a while now I have been worried about school life and how to balance it with my walk with God and my service to Him. I don’t want any to suffer and it SEEMS like in the course of life one would have to take pre-eminence. So I’m throwing this question to you; how do you balance church- life (service) and work-life? After school you’ll be saddled with various responsibilities like family, work, ministry and some other things, how do you make sure there’s balance? I know people who have gone to both sides of the extreme; putting all attention to one (maybe ministry) and totally neglecting the other (maybe family). Then I know people who seem to be making it work. So how do you create a balance or does God literally expect you to throw everything and follow Him? I believe if we have this balance even in the circular world a lot of families will be saved. A lot of marriages will be saved if a lot of husbands kept their wives
