PRAISE


"With a grateful heart I lift my hands to you, proclaiming Lord you reign!
Great are you Lord, You're greatly to be praised. Greatly to be praised, Father you reign"(Sinach - Great are You Lord)

Praise is an act of love. Praise is meant to come from your inner being. Praise is beautiful. Praise is comely. Praise is wonderful and God inhabits (dwells in, lives in) the praise of His people.

Do you want to know where God is? In the midst of the praises of His people.  Psalm 22:3 "But You are holy, O You who are enthroned in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered]." (Amp). That's where God is!

Now for you to praise God, it  must be heartfelt; praise that does not just come from words of mouth alone but from your heart.

Matt 15:8 "This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips;But their heart is far from me." (KJV).

Praise is an act of worship and if we must worship Him, we must worship Him in Spirit and in truth (with a heart of sincerity).

The devil might trick you to believe in your darkest hour that God is not close by or that He loves you the less. Dont believe that thought. Praise God even in your darkest moments (when everything seems to be going wrong) and you'll see Him in action soon concerning that your situation.

Acts 16: 25 "And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed."

Even when it feels difficult to praise (you might have a lot of worries and you just don't know how to begin to praise God in such situation), just sit back for a while and remember all that God has done for you. Count your blessings one by one and you'll be praising before you finish.

God loves you and it is His utmost desire to see you whole. Why not come to Him with a heart full of praise

It's good to know that God loves you. That He is concerned about the little details about you, like how you sleep, what you eat, what you wear, who you court. God is Able to do What He says He will do

It’s easy to get distracted. It’s easy to conclude that God is not working. So what do you do when you get to this point where it feels like you’re going nowhere? You take a deep breath, relax and tell God to take over. A ridiculous position for someone who is expecting some action, but until you’re still and realize and recognize that He is God, you will never get God to work in your life. God is able to do that which He says He will do. His ability does not change because the circumstances have changed or because the person you were hoping on has passed on. The prophet says in Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou (God) wilt keep him (you) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Him): because he (you)  trusts in thee (Him). Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” God tells us to put our trust in Him (that confidently relies on and believe in Him). Hello, guys. So it’s been a while here. How are you? Hope you’re all good. Today I’m going to be talking about ‘intimacy with the King' After salvation, God expects us to grow. I will tell you, you just got started if you just gave your life to Christ. There’s so much more to being saved than quoting a few good scriptures and going to church. God doesn’t want you to just come to him and end it there. He wants you to grow. He wants you to come to know Him. He wants you to come to be like Him. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you. (Deep calls unto deep; Psalm 42:7). God is the first Deep and He needs you to be deep too. Your salvation, great as it is, is not enough.  If it was, God would have taken you up immediately you gave your life to Him, but He didn’t. After your salvation, you need to grow. We Have a Better Covenant Than They

Heb 1: 13 KJV: “But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” After the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, He was raised up by God and made to sit at His Right Hand in heavenly places and while God was raising up Christ, He raised up everyone that would ever come to Him in Christ. So every prospective child of God was raised up in Christ upon His resurrection. So BEFORE you accepted Jesus you are already raised in Christ and you are seated in heavenly places. Let me explain the situation like this: If someone promises to give you money and the person drops the money with a friend for you, till you take possession of the money you can’t do anything with it. The fact that you have not collected the money does not mean it is not there. Fellowship

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together except they agree? Agreement is very important for any relationship to work. The place of fellowship is where spouses can learn about each other; their flaws, their likes, and dislikes and how best to relate to each other. In our relationship with Christ ( He is our groom and we are His bride Rev 21:9 ), fellowship is where divinity meets with humanity and we become more like Him. We can fellowship with God through His Word and Prayer.  When you are going through God’s Word, you might not immediately feel the effect of what you’re doing but if you CONSISTENTLY keep at it, one day you'll realize that you’re acting like Jesus. Remember always that in your Christian life you walk by Faith and not by Sight and you can only move God by your faith. So believe you’re getting something from your Word study even if you think you’re not, and consistently keep at it and you’ll soon realize that the Word is having an impact in your life.  Next is prayer. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ‘HARASSING ME WITH LOVE'. So for a while now I have been worried about school life and how to balance it with my walk with God and my service to Him. I don’t want any to suffer and it SEEMS like in the course of life one would have to take pre-eminence. So I’m throwing this question to you; how do you balance church- life (service) and work-life? After school you’ll be saddled with various responsibilities like family, work, ministry and some other things, how do you make sure there’s balance? I know people who have gone to both sides of the extreme; putting all attention to one (maybe ministry) and totally neglecting the other (maybe family). Then I know people who seem to be making it work. So how do you create a balance or does God literally expect you to throw everything and follow Him? I believe if we have this balance even in the circular world a lot of families will be saved. A lot of marriages will be saved if a lot of husbands kept their wives
