READING AND STUDYING


Now more than ever I believe everyone should begin to have a personal revelation of God. You know, it’s exciting when you know God for yourself. You have this Father- son/ daughter relationship that will be exclusive to you. When you come to church, it won’t be as though the Pastor was speaking a foreign language to you; You can understand better and connect easier because you have a personal relationship with God.

Scriptures tell us in Matt 24:4-5 “Jesus answered, “Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error]. 
For many will come in My name[misusing it, and appropriating the strength of the name which belongs to Me], saying, ‘I am the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed),’ and they will mislead many.”
God, however, does not leave us on our own, He gives us tools for us to know the whims of the devil and be able to resist them. The fundamental tool God has given to us is found in the Book of Daniel.
Dan 11: 32 With smooth words [of flattery and praise] he will turn to godlessness those who [are willing to] disregard the [Mosaic] covenant, BUT THE PEOPLE WHO [ARE SPIRITUALLY MATURE AND] KNOW THEIR GOD WILL DISPLAY STRENGTH AND TAKE ACTION [TO RESIST].
This tool is KNOWLEDGE OF HIM.
KJV puts it thus, ‘but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits'.
Knowledge of God is fundamental in winning any battle in this end times. There are other tools in the Bible that Christ teaches us to use in detecting false prophets, but the fundamental of them all is ‘Knowledge of God'. For example, how will you know that a false preacher is bearing evil fruits (matt 7:15-17) if you don’t know God and know what He considers good or evil?

There’s so much to God we don’t know. So much Depth we have not reached. If He was to give a man a spoonful of His Glory, he would not be able to finish it in his lifetime. But if we are willing to know God He is willing to open Himself up to us to the extent to which we can carry Him. One man of God is not more powerful than another. There’s only One powerful God and men who have developed different capacities to carry Him. If you're hungry for God, He will fill you up.
Matt 5: 6 “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled”
Matt 7:37 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink”
Mat 7:7- 11 “ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 
Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 
Or if he asks a fish, will he give him a serpent? 
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”

Hunger and Thirst are the Keys to get to know God. If you’ll seek, you’ll find.
Jer 29: 13  “AND YE SHALL SEEK ME, AND FIND ME WHEN YE SHALL SEARCH FOR ME WITH ALL YOUR HEART”.
So how do you go about seeking God: 1) THROUGH HIS WORD AND IN PRAYER THROUGH THE HELP OF HIS SPIRIT. I don’t know of any other way.

God is Able to do What He says He will do

It’s easy to get distracted. It’s easy to conclude that God is not working. So what do you do when you get to this point where it feels like you’re going nowhere? You take a deep breath, relax and tell God to take over. A ridiculous position for someone who is expecting some action, but until you’re still and realize and recognize that He is God, you will never get God to work in your life. God is able to do that which He says He will do. His ability does not change because the circumstances have changed or because the person you were hoping on has passed on. The prophet says in Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou (God) wilt keep him (you) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Him): because he (you)  trusts in thee (Him). Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” God tells us to put our trust in Him (that confidently relies on and believe in Him). Circumstances may change, people may fail you but God will not fail you.  God is perfect in all His way

Intimacy With The King

Hello, guys. So it’s been a while here. How are you? Hope you’re all good. Today I’m going to be talking about ‘intimacy with the King' After salvation, God expects us to grow. I will tell you, you just got started if you just gave your life to Christ. There’s so much more to being saved than quoting a few good scriptures and going to church. God doesn’t want you to just come to him and end it there. He wants you to grow. He wants you to come to know Him. He wants you to come to be like Him. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you. (Deep calls unto deep; Psalm 42:7). God is the first Deep and He needs you to be deep too. Your salvation, great as it is, is not enough.  If it was, God would have taken you up immediately you gave your life to Him, but He didn’t. After your salvation, you need to grow. We Have a Better Covenant Than They

Heb 1: 13 KJV: “But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” After the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, He was raised up by God and made to sit at His Right Hand in heavenly places and while God was raising up Christ, He raised up everyone that would ever come to Him in Christ. So every prospective child of God was raised up in Christ upon His resurrection. So BEFORE you accepted Jesus you are already raised in Christ and you are seated in heavenly places. Let me explain the situation like this: If someone promises to give you money and the person drops the money with a friend for you, till you take possession of the money you can’t do anything with it. The fact that you have not collected the money does not mean it is not there. In the same way, God has finished the work on your behalf, paid the price, done all He needs to do and has rested but till you come and collect the finished work of God by accepting J

Fellowship

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together except they agree? Agreement is very important for any relationship to work. The place of fellowship is where spouses can learn about each other; their flaws, their likes, and dislikes and how best to relate to each other. In our relationship with Christ ( He is our groom and we are His bride Rev 21:9 ), fellowship is where divinity meets with humanity and we become more like Him. We can fellowship with God through His Word and Prayer.  When you are going through God’s Word, you might not immediately feel the effect of what you’re doing but if you CONSISTENTLY keep at it, one day you'll realize that you’re acting like Jesus. Remember always that in your Christian life you walk by Faith and not by Sight and you can only move God by your faith. So believe you’re getting something from your Word study even if you think you’re not, and consistently keep at it and you’ll soon realize that the Word is having an impact in your life.  Next is prayer. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ‘HARASSING ME WITH LOVE'. So for a while now I have been worried about school life and how to balance it with my walk with God and my service to Him. I don’t want any to suffer and it SEEMS like in the course of life one would have to take pre-eminence. So I’m throwing this question to you; how do you balance church- life (service) and work-life? After school you’ll be saddled with various responsibilities like family, work, ministry and some other things, how do you make sure there’s balance? I know people who have gone to both sides of the extreme; putting all attention to one (maybe ministry) and totally neglecting the other (maybe family). Then I know people who seem to be making it work. So how do you create a balance or does God literally expect you to throw everything and follow Him? I believe if we have this balance even in the circular world a lot of families will be saved. A lot of marriages will be saved if a lot of husbands kept their wives
