Beauty in Diversity

Ever wondered why God would use (insert name), because he/she is obviously different from you? (Not necessarily in standards now but in physical features or character)
Answer. Acts 10: 34 "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35but in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him."
Sometimes we ask, why am I not like B, or why is my Christianity not like B's. Or more dangerously, we start acting like B, because we "like their Christianity".
Let's see a scripture.
Rom 1:20 "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."
This scripture tells us that what was made (the world) helps us understand more about God. What is the one thing nature teaches us? Diversity! Take a look at the sky; the birds; animals; plants. Every one distinct. No two looking exactly alike, yet all working as one to achieve a common goal; life.
God is creative. He can work in one thousand people, in one thousand different ways and there'll be no clashes. Yet together they will be to achieving a common good. This is something the devil cannot do. He's a copyist.
The Bible tells us:
1 cor 12:14 "For the body is not one member, but many.
15If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
16And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him."
You're part of a big picture. If your part is missing, the picture will not be complete. You're important.
In trying to be like others, you might end up not fulfilling your own destiny.
Don't judge others because they don't look like you, act like you, eat like you, worship God like you.
The Bible tells us
1 cor 12: "4 Now there are [distinctive] varieties of spiritual gifts [special abilities given by the grace and extraordinary power of the Holy Spirit operating in believers], but it is the same Spirit [who grants them and empowers believers].
5 And there are [distinctive] varieties of ministries and service, but it is the same Lord [who is served].
6 And there are [distinctive] ways of working [to accomplish things], but it is the same God who produces all things in all believers [inspiring, energizing, and empowering them].
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit [the spiritual illumination and the enabling of the Holy Spirit] for the common good...
11 All these things [the gifts, the achievements, the abilities, the empowering] are brought about by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, distributing to each one individually just as He chooses."
I'll conclude with 2 cor 10 "12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise."
Let God be your standard not men.
