Hope you're having a good day.

Today we'll be talking on obedience.

Obedience is the key. Obedience is the KEY. Obedience is the master key. To go far with God, obedience is the key.

You can't get to the next level with God, without first obeying the instructions He has given you.

I remember when God told me to start a blog. I wanted to get all the facts before I began (How is it going to work out. What am I going to be doing with it). Well I didn't get an answer (maybe I didn't know what to ask for).  Then I was going through the fb page of a certain man of God and I saw something he posted. It went paraphrased, 'you will never understand what God wants to do until you obey'.

Take the first step of obedience and He will begin to unravel His intentions to you.

Now He's revealing to me step by step what He wants me to do. You know precept upon precept, a little here, a little there.

Isaiah 28: 10 “For He says,‘Precept upon precept, precept upon precept,
Rule upon rule, rule upon rule,
Here a little, there a little.’”

You won't get to the fullness of God's plan for you until you obey first what He's saying now. And obedience is continual. For life.

God says in  Job 36: 11 “If they hear and serve Him (God), They will end their days in prosperity And their years in pleasantness and joy". Why not obey and serve Him.

God's ways are beyond us. Far beyond us. And you'll never be able to fully comprehend what He is doing at every point in time. You'll just have to keep following Him as He's going, in obedience.

You won't get the complete picture yet. Just obey what He is telling you to do NOW.

Let me give you a small example I and my mom found in scripture today.

God told Joshua;

Joshua 1: 8 "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success"

Why did he have to meditate to be prosperous?

1 - If you meditate on Gods word, you'll be wise

Pro 2: 6 "For the LORD giveth wisdom:Out of his MOUTH cometh knowledge and understanding."

Psalm 199: 99  "I have better understanding and deeper insight than all my teachers [because of Your word],
For Your testimonies are my meditation."

2 - If you're wise, wisdom will direct you on how to make your way prosperous.

3 - And then you'll have good success free from fear or sorrow.

But you'll never know this till you obey and meditate on His word.

God's work in our lives come in different stages. He won't take you from point A immediately to Z in your walk with Him. You'll go through point a,b,c,d,e ... z. No jumping class.

This is for you to come out well equipped. So you'll not fail on the day of battle. And obedience is the key at every stage to get you to the next stage.

God is not in a hurry. If you want to take 40 years to get to where God wants you to be, fine. But you can make it way lesser by choosing to obey. For you to move from one stage to another, you have to obey the instructions that come to you.

If God tells you to start a business. Don't ask how will this be. Say okay. Then in prayer ask, what do I do. He'll direct you.

What is God telling you to do now? Obey whatever instruction comes to you from Him this year and You'll see yourself going from one level to the next with Him.

One secret:  It's in obedience You'll get the fulfilment of God's promises to you this year.

He told you He'll do ... for you. Well He'll bring instructions telling you what to do or not to do. As you keep obeying, You'll keep seeing the fulfilment of His promises.

Obedience may not be easy. But choose to

Prayer: Dear Lord baptize me continually with the Spirit of obedience, in Jesus Name I pray. Amen

God is Able to do What He says He will do

It’s easy to get distracted. It’s easy to conclude that God is not working. So what do you do when you get to this point where it feels like you’re going nowhere? You take a deep breath, relax and tell God to take over. A ridiculous position for someone who is expecting some action, but until you’re still and realize and recognize that He is God, you will never get God to work in your life. God is able to do that which He says He will do. His ability does not change because the circumstances have changed or because the person you were hoping on has passed on. The prophet says in Isaiah 26:3-4 “Thou (God) wilt keep him (you) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee (Him): because he (you)  trusts in thee (Him). Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.” God tells us to put our trust in Him (that confidently relies on and believe in Him). Circumstances may change, people may fail you but God will not fail you.  God is perfect in all His way

Intimacy With The King

Hello, guys. So it’s been a while here. How are you? Hope you’re all good. Today I’m going to be talking about ‘intimacy with the King' After salvation, God expects us to grow. I will tell you, you just got started if you just gave your life to Christ. There’s so much more to being saved than quoting a few good scriptures and going to church. God doesn’t want you to just come to him and end it there. He wants you to grow. He wants you to come to know Him. He wants you to come to be like Him. He wants to have an intimate relationship with you. (Deep calls unto deep; Psalm 42:7). God is the first Deep and He needs you to be deep too. Your salvation, great as it is, is not enough.  If it was, God would have taken you up immediately you gave your life to Him, but He didn’t. After your salvation, you need to grow. We Have a Better Covenant Than They

Heb 1: 13 KJV: “But to which of the angels said He at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” After the death and crucifixion of Jesus Christ, He was raised up by God and made to sit at His Right Hand in heavenly places and while God was raising up Christ, He raised up everyone that would ever come to Him in Christ. So every prospective child of God was raised up in Christ upon His resurrection. So BEFORE you accepted Jesus you are already raised in Christ and you are seated in heavenly places. Let me explain the situation like this: If someone promises to give you money and the person drops the money with a friend for you, till you take possession of the money you can’t do anything with it. The fact that you have not collected the money does not mean it is not there. Fellowship

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together except they agree? Agreement is very important for any relationship to work. The place of fellowship is where spouses can learn about each other; their flaws, their likes, and dislikes and how best to relate to each other. In our relationship with Christ ( He is our groom and we are His bride Rev 21:9 ), fellowship is where divinity meets with humanity and we become more like Him. We can fellowship with God through His Word and Prayer.  When you are going through God’s Word, you might not immediately feel the effect of what you’re doing but if you CONSISTENTLY keep at it, one day you'll realize that you’re acting like Jesus. Remember always that in your Christian life you walk by Faith and not by Sight and you can only move God by your faith. So believe you’re getting something from your Word study even if you think you’re not, and consistently keep at it and you’ll soon realize that the Word is having an impact in your life.  Next is prayer. THANK YOU, LORD, FOR ‘HARASSING ME WITH LOVE'. So for a while now I have been worried about school life and how to balance it with my walk with God and my service to Him. I don’t want any to suffer and it SEEMS like in the course of life one would have to take pre-eminence. So I’m throwing this question to you; how do you balance church- life (service) and work-life? After school you’ll be saddled with various responsibilities like family, work, ministry and some other things, how do you make sure there’s balance? I know people who have gone to both sides of the extreme; putting all attention to one (maybe ministry) and totally neglecting the other (maybe family). Then I know people who seem to be making it work. So how do you create a balance or does God literally expect you to throw everything and follow Him? I believe if we have this balance even in the circular world a lot of families will be saved. A lot of marriages will be saved if a lot of husbands kept their wives
