Spiritual Arrogance or Physical Arrogance

Christianity is greatly evolving. A whole lot of changes are going on in Christendom. God is revealing himself in a greater measurement to his children. However we must not lose sight of the manner Christ needs us to live even in this new move of the Holy Spirit.

John 13:12-15 says "So when He had washed their feet and put on His [outer] robe and reclined at the table again, He said to them, “Do you understand what I have done for you?13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you are right in doing so, for that is who I am.14 So if I, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you ought to wash one another’s feet as well. 15 For I gave you[this as] an example, so that you should do[in turn] as I did to you."

For a better understanding let's look at Luke 22:25

Luke 22:25 "Jesus said to them,“The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. 26 But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves."

God expects us as his children to live a life that displays him. You see, you're a replicate picture of God on this earth. You're an extension of him and he wishes you to act in the manner he might act in any situation.

Luke 14:9 "Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father."

John 15: 19 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the father do: for what things so ever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."

Whilst Jesus was here, he could have been any type of king. However he chose to be God's type of king.

He was a king that ruled in humility. He brought himself low to the point of becoming man. Yet because of the 'little' we've  known of God we're full of pride.

Paul in all the levels he walked with God, was a man so humble. There's a thin line between spiritual arrogance and physical arrogance (pride). Many of us have crossed that line without knowing it.

Prayer: Lord help me to live a life that will be a reflection of yours even here on earth.

Grace
