Freedom

2Cor 3: 17: “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” KJV
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].” Amp

This has been an issue for a while. Who is really free? What exactly does the Spirit of God liberate us from.
Well let’s find the truth from the Truth ( God's WORD)
2cor 3: 14 “But [in fact] their minds were hardened [for they had lost the ability to understand];” AMP
2cor 3: 15 “But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil [of blindness] lies over their heart” AMP
A veil is a covering. It is used to conceal a thing. The veil is what hinders us from the Presence of God. It makes God inaccessible. So what is this veil ( our obstruction from accessing God)? What causes this blindness and hardness of heart ?
Gen 6: 3 "Then the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive and remain with man forever, because he is indeed flesh [sinful, corrupt—given over to sensual appetites];”
This veil of flesh upon the hearts of men caused the veil over the temple. But there is good news!
John 4: 23, 24 “But a time is coming and is already here when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit [from the heart, the inner self] and in truth; for the Father seeks such people to be His worshipers”
God did not leave us without “a backup plan”
24  "God is spirit [the Source of life, yet invisible to mankind], and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” AMP
Man's inability to see and understand and turn to God to be healed was caused by the hardness of his heart, and only the Spirit of God can take that veil away
2cor 3: 16, 17 “But whenever a person turns [in repentance and faith] to the Lord, the veil is taken away.”
“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” KJV
When the veil of blindness and a hardened heart that was obstructing us from accessing the presence of God is taken way; that is true liberty; A free mind and conscience so that we can serve God in Spirit and in truth.
No man who has truly tasted the emancipation that the Spirit gives will want to go back into sin. This is a matter of choice though.
Allow the Holy Spirit work in you and by Him you will mount up with wings as eagles to become all that the Father desires you to be. Amen
